Robin Quivers Victim of Hit-and-Run Car Accident

Robin Quivers was involved in a hit-and-run car accident last week in New Jersey. She did not suffer any injuries in the crash.

Quivers said that a driver sped out of a parking garage and lost control of his car. The vehicle cut her off and hit her vehicle on the driver’s side. The driver immediately fled the scene, but he chose his escape route poorly and ended up driving the wrong way down a dead end street. As a result, witnesses to the accident were able to record his license plate and get an accurate description of the driver and vehicle when he came back out of the dead end street.

The driver received several tickets for the incident, including:

  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • Failure to report an accident
  • Reckless driving
  • Operating an unregistered vehicle

“Thank goodness I was in my SUV,” Quivers told her audience while recounting the details of the car accident on The Howard Stern Show. “I jammed my thumb. My thumb is killing me.”

Over the past few decades, Quivers has received national notoriety as Howard Stern’s sidekick on his nationally broadcasted radio show. The two have been on the air together since the early 1980s.
