Motorcycle Accident Lands Biker in Back Seat of Minivan
A motorcycle accident occurring last Thursday gave a minivan driver an unexpected back seat passenger. During the accident, the motorcycle driver rear-ended the minivan and was catapulted into the back seat of the van. The driver of the minivan continued down the road and pulled into his driveway before discovering his new passenger.
According to police at the scene, the motorcycle accident was caused by the motorcycle driver’s failure to stop when the minivan slowed down to make a turn. After the impact, the motorcycle landed underneath the minivan, while the rider ended up inside.
Neither driver was injured in the motorcycle accident, an amazing feat considering the fact that the rider was launched through the minivan’s rear windshield. However, it appears that both vehicles have sustained significant property damage. The police officer indicated that the motorcycle driver’s helmet endured the brunt of the impact. Apparently, the rider was lucky to be wearing a helmet. Otherwise, he might have suffered a serious brain injury.
