Galveston, Texas Area Man Killed After SUV Rollover Accident

A man from Alvin, Texas was found dead at the scene of an SUV rollover accident late last week. Passer-bys spotted the damaged Chevrolet Blazer and called authorities around 8:00 a.m.

According to police, the SUV left the road it was traveling on, rolled and flipped several times, and then struck several trees before coming to a stop on its wheels. The only passenger in the SUV was a 25-year-old man who was thrown from the vehicle when it rolled over.

Police say that the man died at the scene from blunt force trauma to the head. Police are still investigating the cause of the SUV rollover accident because the vehicle could not be easily seen from the road and they are unsure when the accident occurred. It is unclear yet if this was a drunk driving accident or not, but the man may have survived if he had been wearing his seatbelt.

SUV accidents can be notoriously dangerous because their high center of gravity gives them the propensity to rollover more easily than sedans or coupes. Once the investigation of this SUV accident is complete, it will be clearer if a manufacturing defect or other outside force caused the accident.

If you or one of your loved ones has been involved in an SUV rollover accident, you may be able to recover damages for pain and suffering, lost wages, or wrongful death.
