Are There Really only 5 Deadly Sins that can Ruin Your Personal Injury Case
If you look at some attorney web sites you will find articles or books on "5 deadly sins that can ruin your personal injury case." On my own personal web site I have only 4 deadly sins that can ruin your personal injury case. http://www.castellilaw.com/helpful_tips.html
The reality is that there are many things that you can do that can seriously cause you to lessen your recovery and even loose your personal injury case. If you do some of these things it is rightfully so that you should loose your case.
For instance lying about your injuries or exaggerating your injuries. That seems to be something that goes without saying. In fact, lying about your case will cause you to loose me as your attorney.
What else could impact your case?
1. Gaps in medical treatment
2. Not following prescribed treatment
3. Trying to hide past accidents
4. Trying to hide past injuries.
Some people will go so far as to say do not talk to the insurance company. But what are you going to do about the damage to your car.The insurance co. needs to look at your car so they can take care of it if liability is not disputed. My general advice is do not let them record you. and think about your injuries from head to toe, before you discuss your case with the insurance adjustor.
